First Finish of 2016

Another top that has been languishing in my WIP pile...
finished and now in the donation pile for the hospital charity I have been sewing for lately.
I made myself try something new and added an uneven grid to the quilting on this one just for visual interest, it turned out good...yay!  The reason this was never finished is that I was planning to hand quilt it with perle cotton but then didn't like the effect and had to rip out the quilting I had done - back in 2012....good to get a finish and move on!

This quilt looks cozy. Wonderful finish for some lucky recipient. Love the pattern and the fabric you used.

Great to have a finish! Sorry you had to rip out before you could finish though. No fun there!

Yeah You! I think it's always good to get a finish early on in the year. Your quilt looks nice and how lovely now that it's done.

A very pretty quilt, Kris! I like the pops of white in there and the uneven grid quilting was a great choice for that quilt top. You are going to make someone very happy!

I have some of that fabric, but haven't used it. I'm not sure what I'm waiting for! Your quilt is really beautiful and will be loved, I'm sure.
