A bit of Spiral Quilting

I used my friend Patty's tutorial to do a bit of spiral quilting on the bright baby star quilt...
I think it turned out pretty good but I need to work on perfecting the inner spiral.  I tried to use my walking foot but would definitely use the free motion foot for the center in the future.

The quilt pattern came from a tutorial found here.

This is a great pattern for donation quilts, it was a quick sew and the spiral quilting compliments the star well :)

Have a great day!

This is beautiful!!! Love your spiral quilting for the star quilt. This pattern is also on my to-do list. First, I need to finish a long awaited reversible tablecloth for my daughter.

Love it! I've got a small wall hanging just waiting for me to try this. Yours turned out great!

The spiral quilting looks great on the star, Kris!! I also found inner spirals/circles to be harder to quilt. I used a smaller stitch length for those with my walking foot. That seems to work a lot better. The quilt looks fabulous!
