Week 9 - Long Time Gone SAL- Log Cabins

I love so many of Jen Kingwell's designs and when I heard there would be a SAL using her sampler pattern Long Time Gone of all machine pieced blocks, I decided I needed to play along.

The details can be found here at  http://www.gnomeangel.com/week-1-long-time-gone-sew-along-bow-tie-block/ if you would like to join in the fun.

These are my version of the blocks for this week, Log Cabin:
This block was a good chance to use up some skinny strips I had accumulated from cutting for this quilt.

My other blocks for this sal:

Absolutely yummy! I've had my eye on this quilt. It calls me, but the pattern isn't in my budget right now. Yours is going to be a real stunner!

I love looking at the fabrics you are using. Some of them remind me of some good times we had shopping. Love all your blocks!
