I love so many of Jen Kingwell's designs and when I heard there would be a SAL using her sampler pattern Long Time Gone of all machine pieced blocks, I decided I needed to play along.
The details can be found here at http://www.gnomeangel.com/week-1-long-time-gone-sew-along-bow-tie-block/ if you would like to join in the fun.
So last week was an amnesty week for the Long Time Gone SAL and I didn't have any catch up so had nothing to share. This week is for the last blocks, Checkerboards...you can see them between all the other blocks in my finished quilt top...
Sneak peek of the quilting...I had my local long arm quilter just do a meander with all the busy fun of this sampler.
I am actually binding the quilt now...
I believe the reveal is scheduled for next week :)
These are my other blocks for this SAL:

This is just beautiful - congratulations on this one!
It came out wonderfully! I admire her patterns, too.
So beautiful Kris! I have one of Jens patterns if you ever want to borrow.
That is just gorgeous. Great job on it!
That is a lovely quilt, Kris! I really enjoyed seeing you making all the blocks, seeing your fabric collection :)

I'm in total awe of all those blocks you've made. I've decided not to copy you on this one because I could never get them all done. You rocked on these!
Love Jen's patterns as well. You do her justice. Great quilt.
HI Kris...thinking of you...
