Not much sewing around here lately but I did get a start on Bee in My Bonnet's (Lori Holt) QAL using her new book Farm Girl Vintage.
I am planning on making the 6 inch size blocks to put together in a Sampler Quilt similar to the one on the front cover.
This is a pattern called Autumn Star but I picked summer colors so I guess that makes mine more Summer Star-ish?
This one is aptly named Baby Chick block...
Our salad greens are progressing, should be able to pick and eat soon!
Lots of growth happening right now with the rain we received this weekend...
Carrots still have a long way to go :)

Cute blocks! I like your center on the star and the tape measure fabric on the chick. I haven't made any blocks yet, but I occasionally drool as I look through the book!
I saw that bird on another blog and loved it. Yours is adorable! Nice looking garden, too!
Great job on the blocks! I really like the chick.
Oh I love your blocks. I am going to work on mine tomorrow. I need to get my lettuce planted too. I am hoping my repotting of my tomatoes they get a wee bit bigger before they head to the garden.
I love your blocks and after seeing them are going to have to cave and buy the book. I wasn't going to but you have pushed me over the edge. Rina
Love your fabric choices Kris! The chick is adorable. I haven't made any blocks for the quilt along but did make a wall hanging last weekend, using the cherry block from the book.
What a great yellow fabric....you are tempting me to start. I did give in and buy the book...:))
Lovely blocks, Kris! Your garden is looking so wonderful!
