So this was a pretty easy block to make, especially as I sized it up from the original 5 inches...I thought I needed a Logo block for my quilt and liljabs pattern does quite nicely...
This is block number 8 so I guess that means on to block number 9!!
Here is a look at what I have pieced so far...
I am beginning consider layout options, I have been using a lot of either really light or really dark backgrounds so I will need to ponder my choices carefully...
BTW...this is my 250th blog post, crazy!!! Thanks for taking the time to visit my little space in blog-land, you all constantly make my day :)

Looks great. I've only done 4 but intend to do more - really like this block with the logo on it.
Love the dark gray you used for background and the blue just pops within the blocks.
Loving your newest completed block...wow...you piece like the wind...keep on inspiring us!
They all look great Kris! Your blog posts make my day too!
Yay! You are definitely making a lot of progress. I sewed two hexies yesterday....giggle.
I think any young teen would be over the top with this...holy cow kris...this is wow
These look really great!!
Wow Kris!! You are doing great with these blocks, the kiddo must be very happy! When I was making mine, I made each block without looking at the others. I finished all of them, then I did the layout by distributing the dark/light backgrounds. Not always evenly, I kept the subject of the block in mind as well. Your blocks look great together!
