I am attempting to keep up with both FW 1930's qal's (see my sidebar for links) for the moment. I believe this will still allow me "time off" soon - as some will overlap very soon.
For the moment, I have 9 total blocks done...
Here is the latest, referred to as "Aunt" FW 1930's block number 8...
This may be my favorite so far. Very cheery :)
Angie from GnomeAngel, (heading up the qal releasing this block today) likens the letter attributed to "Aunt Maria" to Matthew 6:34 and I think that is a great verse to sum it up with.
May we all remember that planning for tomorrow is time well spent; while worrying about tomorrow is time wasted - and incorporate it in our lives! I know I need a reminder of that fairly often.
I especially love the center of this block...I had a charm square of these two and really like them together although maybe I should have looked for a bit more contrast? Well...I like it as is, lol!!
Now back to my pumpkin project...

the blue and yellow combination are lovely together! You are really going to town.
I want to do that but need but need to do Christmas and Christmas quilt and quilt for two aunts that have cancer. never enough time!
Both blocks are gorgeous. Love the blue and yellows.
I could do this pretty block as it doesn't look as complicated as those other ones you've worked on!
