One Monthly Goal April Finish

My goal this month was a continuation of an ongoing quilt project for me called Colfax County:

My next step was to make more star blocks and my goal for this month was to complete the other 12 of these 24 total (12 inch) needed star blocks.

I  made it, here they are, all 24 star blocks are now finished, yay!
Just for fun here are a couple pictures of my son's Canstruction project.  He and a group from his high school built a local landmark from cans to support the food bank.

A picture of the actual museum...

When I look at your lovely blocks it makes me think of a blooming flower, but that made me think of the Blooming Onion at Outback and now I'm hungry!!

Kind of like oversized Legos! (Imagine recreating that in fabric . . .)
Your Colfax blocks look wonderful. After all the piecing the assembly will be a snap. Congratulations on your OMG finish.
