Thanks, as always, to Mdm Samm and Carol for giving me a chance to share in this fun flower theme hop!
Sometimes a project just comes together and this was one of those...
I bought an extra wall hanging pattern from Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts two years ago along with some of her batik fabric when I took a workshop with her which produced this quilt...one of my favorites which actually still lives at my house.
I "sat" on the pattern awhile, not sure if I could do it justice :) Then, recently, two generous friends gifted me some Aurifil which "happened" to match perfectly and I knew it was time to make this wall-hanging...(it's called Over The Fence and can be found at the Laundry Basket Quilts link above)
As for a giveaway, I thought I would send this gently used pattern and a new garden embroidery book to a reader who would like them, be sure to let me know you would in the comments. I will draw after the hop...

I love it and what a good idea to give it away ! Really, how many of us make something more than once ? I think most quilters like to go on to the next thing, I know I do. I have black-eyed Susan's growing wild in my veggie garden right by the cedar stave fence.

Your quilt is beautiful with the Black-eyed Susan flowers...at least that's what they look like to me. Just love it and I am partial to all kinds of cone-flowers. I already made a couple of cone-flowers quilts for this hop already, so while the pattern is great, I don't need it, but thanks for having a giveaway.
