These pictures are mostly from my walk this morning:
The trees are on fire in red this morning.
A picture of our flag what with the election happening next week.
My poor zinnias think it is still summer...
So do the daisies, they look like they may try for another bloom but I don't think they will get it in before another hard frost. Anybody up for a game of frisbee golf?
This pumpkin...hmmm, really? blossoms in November? See the wee grasshopper?
I will leave you with this picture my son took of our cat wearing her Halloween hat...I shared it last post, but really...do you mind a second look? :)
Please be sure to visit Soma and the others in her linky!!
Have a great day!
Love the kitty picture!! Beautiful pictures all around!
ReplyDeleteJust realized my link takes you to my old blog. You can find me at michellebfizzard.com
ReplyDeleteThose autumn colors are gorgeous. I'm sure many plants get confused with the warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and I do thank you for that second look at the cat in costume. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! We've already had 3 hard frosts, but it brought out the nicest foliage in some of the perennials. I had a good laugh of your cat pics on your last post with his octopus costume - ears laid back - not sure what the score is. He's so cute!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures! My hubby has a frisbee golf target in our yard too. :0)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics. Your kitty looks so pleased to be dressed for Hallowe'en. .. How sweet'
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall photos! Aren't the colors vivid (and long lasting) this year? I looked back through some of your other posts and enjoyed the photos of the cars in Auburn from last month. We went to Marion a few years ago because I wanted to see a display of quilts of Ruth B. McDowell at the Quilters Hall of Fame there. My husband was fine with going there, but really happy when he found out we would go through Auburn so we could stop at the Auburn museum. The cars were awesome--and I was blown away by a quilt on display and the Art Deco interior of the building. A perfect little trip for both of us!
ReplyDeleteThe trees...wow! They do look they are on fire. And the kitty looks so cute all dressed up.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely fall shots! I understand about flowers being mixed up since my flowers think it's been spring for 6 months!
ReplyDeleteTrees are surely on fire! LOVE that red, Kris!! Your garden is still looking so nice. My poor Zinnias stopped blooming. I miss the orange flowers. Awww...little Kitty Kitty! She does look adorable :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing them on Wandering Camera!

Lovely photos. Those trees are amazing and your cat looks fab - and very accommodating!
ReplyDeleteObviously I have been lost in time somewhere. I have teeny tiny zinnias blooming too. But I haven't been to check them for a couple of days and we finally had 2 hard frosts.
