Hodgepodge of Things and Halloween

I can't resist sharing our Kitty Kitty and her Halloween costume...

Of course she is an octopus...

Here is where I am at with the stitching of her portrait -

And I am working on the Let it Snow free wool BOM from Buttermilk Basin again...

Here is the "T" in Let -

I love the stitching details in these blocks!!  And I hope by the time I finish it I will be ready for snow - not feeling quite ready yet!

Look at the lettuce bed, I am still feeling like spring!

Of course, the trees say fall...

Hope your weekend has been wonderful!!

  1. Great photos. Your poor kitty. I'm embarrassed for her. :-) Although her portrait is coming out quite nice!

  2. Is she an octopus or an Ood? Great pictures. I let my lettuce go to seed. I could not keep up with it. I think less lettuce next year. Kitty's portrait is coming out well though.

  3. Beautiful fall scenery around your home. Love the pics. Great stitchery - of kitty and your Let it Snow Block. My house becomes full of snowmen decor come Christmas Time and many stay out most of the winter, but my one 'Let it Snow' sign might stay in the box again this year - it snows enough without it up :)!

Your T block is adorable, love the stitch work and your pretty background too.
And your garden bed of lettuce looks amazing, wonderful it's still producing for you.
    Happy Halloween!!

  6. Awww poor kitty. I hope you gave her lots of kitty treats afterwards. Her portrait sure is looking amazing. Beautiful autumnal hues, Kris! Such warm colours. I like the T very much, the snowmen look wonderful, specially the eyes.
