In the Garden BOM- Month 5

The next two limited time free blocks in the In the Garden Block of the Month hosted by Amy of Sew Incredibly Crazy have been released!  They are designed by Sue of
Super Mom - No Cape! Thanks Sue for your cute blocks!!

I am using fabrics provided by Riley Blake for this QAL supplemented by some older Riley Blake fabrics from my stash.  The main fabric line I am using is Bee in My Bonnet's Calico Days.

I am right on the wire finishing my versions of this month's cute blocks:

I left the critters off of my applique block, they are cute so be sure to check them out but I just wanted my block with a bit less "action"...that kitty after the birdie worried me a bit ;)

As for actual garden news...
 See the tiny peppers?
Lettuce survived the 90 degree temps but has a bit of a bitter taste if you stray from the butter lettuce into the other greens...I love mixing cilantro among my greens :)
 Some late peas...
 Corn and cukes...
Green beans...

Here are my prior blocks from this QAL and the links used to find them:

  1. Your blocks are so pretty and I like them without the critters too. Wow, your garden is amazing. Mine is a little behind yours and not near as picturesque.

  5. Your blocks are very cute. Your garden is just a wee bit ahead of ours when it comes to the corn and the green beans. I didn't get mine planted until the weekend before Father's Day.
