In From the Cold Mug Along Bock 5

I saw this new Block of the Month designed by Kate Spain show up at the Moda Website and knew I wanted to join in...you can find my post on block 1 here...block 2 here, block 3 here, and block 4 here.

Here is my block 5...

My advice on this one, because of all the pieces and seams, is to press open all the seams...it lays fairly flat that way...

And, here are all 4 previous blocks lined up from before...there will be nine total blocks in the quilt.

My friend Billie and I are doing this pattern as a Mug Along, 2 per month and you can find her version here...as a Texas girl she is using a more summery palette and her blocks have a completely different look which I love!

This pattern is easy to follow, hope you can make the time to join us :)  We are more than halfway done now!!
