So my friend Cheryl said I have to post something not a Bloc Loc star...
So how about a visitor to the yard, first monarch I've seen this year.
One of our Golden Delicious apples...not quite ripe...
Some of our grapes, also not ripe...
Roaring fire in the backyard from a couple nights ago. the nights are already chilly enough for this and we are not out of August???!!
Red pie apples, not ready yet...
Sunflower late in the day...
One of my very few pears...
A lineup in front of our shorty corn...
Welcome to our place :)
What a great looking family! All your produce looks wonderful too!
ReplyDeleteI am jealous. We don't have any apples yet. Maybe a couple of more years and our trees will produce. DH was laughing at me the other day he was going to weed whip the ditch. I told him "NO" because there is milkweed in there and monarch butterflies lay their eggs, the monarch caterpillars eat the milkweed, then spin their chrysalis. So a reprieve for the ditch, and the milkweed.
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful place and orchard and grapes and sunflowers bring back wonderful memories of our country home we had before moving into town. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteHow do you find time to sew stars with such an amazing garden to hang out in? Beautiful...garden and family!
ReplyDeleteFun photos! I am so glad you shared them. Ah yes, love sunflowers too! They are just really large daisies to me. The family photo looks great!

Today I'm visiting some of the Dog Gone Cute bloggers. I love all the Denyse in your stars and am so glad I kept reading to this post of outside your sewing room. Beautiful surroundings. I'm happy to meet you.
